Update

I’m feeling desperate lately—there are a lot of dog in need of help and not much to do. Four of my favorite dogs at the beach were taken by Animal Control there are at least 3 sweet puppies at the beach waiting to be rescued. And more is still going on…

Today I went to the beach as always and I saw this pup at the side of the road. I was going to give her some food but she just stayed there looking at me like she was in shock—well she was, when I picked her up I noticed she had a fractured front leg. I don’t know what to do, I don’t have money to take her to a vet and I don’t even know how to stabilized the leg so the bone won’t come out of the flesh and skin. It seems that she was abandoned there like that by her owners. She’s around 4 months old and small in size and she’s wearing a red collar. If anyone can help, please do. I don’t like to ask but that’s the only thing I can do right now beside feeding her.

See Ginny's blog for more info about the other rescued dogs: Tany, Miles, Brandon and Fraces.

The light in the sky

Last week I spotted a brilliant object in the sky. At first I thought it was Venus but Venus rises at dawn, not at 7 something pm. Jupiter rises after midnight these days, so it wasn't Jupiter either. The brighter stars in the vecinity were Sirius and Canopus, higher in the sky at that moment--so what the hell was that? I still don't know. I went for my binoculars and I noticed the thing was double and it was just fixed in the sky. Later it started to rain and I didn't see it again--actually I haven't seen it again.
